My genuine love of all things food, cooking, and health related, dating back to my youth, is what pushed me in the direction of enrolling in a professional culinary training program at the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City. I was specifically drawn to this school for its unique approach that combined traditional cooking technique with health oriented methodology. My culinary education led me to the test kitchen at Food52 where I had the opportunity to fine tune my baking and pastry skills. While there, I also baked for the likes of the Food Network, the Kitchn, and King Arthur Flour, and simultaneously delved into food styling, video production, and photography. This wealth of experience solidified my confidence in the kitchen, and allowed me to branch out and develop my own recipes in my spare time. A couple of years down the line, sugardovesweets was born! I proudly bake with high quality traditional, all natural ingredients, many of which are organic, and look to continue expanding my offerings.
This culinary endeavor also serves as my vessel to spread the Gospel. Each order is accompanied by a thoughtfully chosen verse from the Bible with the intention of uplifting your spirit through hope.
